Asthma, sports and health
With this program are to make available to the faculty of physical education a series of knowledge, suggestions for educational procedures and support material for teaching and control asthma in the school environment.
This program is devised to be given to adolescents 12 to 14 years and adapted to the characteristics of these ages.
Program Objectives:
• Mix the training in schools and evaluate their performance.
• Create an environment of support and fellowship for all students with and without asthma
• Increase knowledge about asthma and how it affects sufferers.
• Promote accountability for health care in all students.
• Encourage positive behaviors of the student for self-control asthma.
• Improve the quality of life of children with asthma.
• Increase the level of activity and sense of wellbeing.
• Act on the fears and myths about asthma and its treatment.
• Reduce school absenteeism and emergency room visits.
• Integrate students with asthma in all activities appropriate to their age.
• Promote acceptance by all his classmates and teachers.
