Benefits of zinc

Zinc plays a vital role in many bodily functions. Part of cell growth in dozens of enzymatic reactions and the expulsion of carbon dioxide so harmful to our health.

Present in all living things, the Zinc is abundant in our body, concentrating on the genitals, testicles and ovaries, endocrine glands (which secrete) and especially in the pituitary. It also focuses on the hair, nails, bone and pigmented tissues of the eye.

It is participating in the operation of 70 enzymes among which we can name the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats and proteins, the synthesis of insulin (a hormone that regulates the amount of sugar in the blood), RNA and DNA.

Functions also satisfies relieving allergies, increased natural immunity against bacterial infections and destroy toxic elements like cadmium (metal like tin) that enters the body through cigarette smoke.

During pregnancy, the consumption of zinc is essential for normal growth of the baby. Also after birth, the mammary glands provide significant amounts of zinc for the newborn, so that breastfeeding is very important for the proper development of baby.
