The treatment cost of city general scheme were up 4% in first quarter 2010, against a 3.5% increase over the last twelve months according to latest figures provided by the Caisse National Health Insurance (CNAM ) this Tuesday, April 27. The largest increase was registered by the cost of care paramedics (8.2%) due to a sharp increase in spending Nursing (+13.3%).
Among the costs of care paramedics, Health Insurance noted a slowdown in spending growth physiotherapy (2.2% in first quarter 2010, against 2.7% over the last twelve months).
According to the CNAM, medicines expenditure in the city rose 3.7% in the first quarter, against 3.2% during the last twelve months. In contrast, expenditure on medical and dental fees increased by only 0.9% during the first three months of 2010, against 1.8% in one year.
All health insurance costs rose by 4.1% in the first quarter of 2010.
