Organic Foods Are More Nutritious And Healthy

A European study claims that organic foods are more nutritious and healthy, A European study has confirmed that organically produced foods contain a higher concentration of antioxidants and higher in minerals and vitamins, so they can say they are “more nutritious, tasty and safe and preserve biodiversity and the environment. “Nutritious And Healthy

The study, funded with 18 million euros by the European Union, was introduced by Doctor in Microbiology and a professor at the University of Newcastle, Carlo Leifert. This is the most research in this field, under the QLIF project, which integrates to a total of 15 countries.

This research has included all of the food chain for protected products (tomatoes), open-grown vegetables (lettuce, onions, potatoes, carrots, cabbage), fruits (apples), cereals (wheat), pork products dairy and poultry. Read the rest of this entry »
